Please Change the Epic Scrolls from Dropping off Dead Bodies. I really detest that this loot drops from dead bodies and nowhere else and is required to craft an epic item. It decreases my enjoyment to compete vs. others for scrolls. For clerics who basically should not get in the fray as much on Epic in order to stay alive there is little chance they will get the scrolls because they are in the back healing the sorry melee while concentrating on red bars. I played my cleric on two epic quests last night and really doubt I will ever pull a scroll on my cleric unless nobody else sees it as we go by. Some alternatives I can think of include: putting the scrolls in chests, randomly put them in one person's inventory when somebody loots then off a dead body, or give them to everybody when they get looted.

Shame on you Turbine I am already going through a ton of resources on my cleric and on top of that I have less chance to get scrolls on my cleric then if I play a melee.

Just a way to ensure that Epic = Guild runs only I guess.

Really hate that loot system too. Sure, there are workarounds, but fair loot makes things much easier for everyone...

Yep, terrible system.

If I run any Epic PUGs I'll have a /roll for all scrolls, seems like such a timewaster but there's no other way to handle it.

Should just be like any other dead body drop. If one drops eveyone should be able to pick it up once.

I really want this changed never pm'd a dev or QA but this could be my first. I guess I can trade lg scales or boot pieces for scrolls if need be. My guildies put it up for roll in one dungeon and not for roll in another, but I think we will try to put it up for roll all the time. Anyway its really really irritating.

Exactly. Make them drop the same as treasure bags from any other body. That even encourages team play, such as in the Sub where everyone says "shard!" as soon as one drops.

This is a very unfortunate loot mechanism for any non-melee

In the few I ran, we treated scrolls as such: 1) Need first, 2) Roll, 3) if free whoever picks up.

When you start a quest, let people know your policy
