I notice you are new so just a little tip in case you don't know...

If you get a PG/Holy bow you can buy silver arrows with house D favor.

Which is what I've been doing. However, I picked up the named bow from the Abbot raid last night. 2d12 base damage is a not-insignificant DPS boost over any other bow, but it lacks the ability to penetrate endgame red/purple named DR.

There are no holy silver arrows in DDO

you will not be able to break dr silver+good with Unwavering Ardency. It is not possible, and the item is a novelty at best.

What if you're a paladin with the capstone? Would that apply to ranged weapons too?

Get back to me with a ranged lv 20 pure paladin build and I'll answer.

OP get a holy burst of pg bow (or the Silver Longbow from the vampire in House P - next to a Greensteel bow it's arguably the best DPS bow in the game - higher base damage and crit range) and some House D silver arrows (cuz while it's in the name, the bow isn't actually silver for DR purposes).

Turbine, you can hire more developers for the game. We operate on a giant Theocracy of Debt, so go all out finding developers for the best MMO out there
