Default Solid wall of color inside Inns since Update 1

Ever since Update 1 I've had this really annoying issue where entering any Tavern causes a solid wall of color to appear on my screen. I can't interact with the environment, I just see a solid color (rosey, flesh colored).

The UI exists and I can chat and use voice. I've grouped with other people in the Tavern, they can see me fine and direct me around, but I am unable to interact with any objects, such as doors. According to people watching me I just swing my weapon at the door and pressing the "Use Object" does nothing.

The only way to fix this is to drop the resolution to 1024x768 and set graphics to lowest and windowed and then quit the game and re-enter. I must quit all the way to desktop, simply logging off isn't enough. Once I re-enter I'll be inside the Tavern and can reset the graphics to higher quality, which works until I enter the next Tavern. This repros on every Tavern, and probably shops as well, I've been afraid to enter as it's a huge pain to get back once I do.

I have a GTX 275 with the latest drivers. I'm running Windows 7 32-bit and have not had a single problem until Update 1. All other games are fine, and it isn't an overheating or power issue. Any ideas what's going on here and how to fix it?

Are you using the TDM? If so, there should be an option some where to force it to verify the files.

My first guess is you've got a file corruption on your hand.

I'm not using the Turbine Download Manager (I downloaded the full High-Res client). Is there anyway to get the TDM and have it check all the files without re-downloading everything?

I downloaded the Turbine Download Manager, which in turn re-downloaded the game, which did fix the problem. Thanks!

Glad it is fixed. Just wish there could have been a way that you didn't have to re download everything.

I tend to make backups of my files just in case stuff like this happens.

I am experiencing the same issue. Only /death works at this point.
