Angry Can't get D&D on my desktop?

I only just downloaded the game, installed it, following all the basic prompts along theway. It started up when it was done, and I played for a short while bewfore I had to exit the game and turn off my computer. Now, it never made a desktop icon, and I can't seem to find the file. I can find the "dndsetup" and a few other bits, but I can't find the installed game. Can anyone tell me where to look, or what file name I should put into search?

On a side note, why didn't it make a desktop icon? Every other game does.

It's a quirk with DDO and Vista / Win7 that it doesn't put an icon anywhere that's easily found.

What you can do is to navigate to C:\Program Files\Turbine\DDO Unlimited and find the file TurbineInvoker.exe file. Create a shortcut to this and drop the shortcut on your desktop. In the same directory, you can run TurbineRegisterGDF (run this one as admin) which might create the icon, might not.

Note1: if you are running any sort of compatibility mode on the game you might have an issue but that's tough to say. My guess is that, as you've not even found the file, you're not running compatibility mode.

Note2: the above location is the default location for x32 systems, x64 will be in Program Files (x86). Also, if you've installed to a location that's not default, that's up to you to find.
It occurs to me that the dice are being rolled by the same computer that's trying to kill me. It knows all the moves - it's just toying with me.
