Is it worth it to level?

Hello

Just wondering if its worth taking my next lvl.
I am a DW Kensai. I am about to hit lvl 9. Leveling will provide me with hitpoints and 1 feat. I will be choosing Greater Weapon Focus: Slashing Weapon.

However, I would like to keep doing Deleras quests since the XP is great.
Taking lvl 9 would cause me to take a hit on xp of the quests. Most of the people I play with are my lvl or lower.
Those who are the same lvl wont hit 9 for a little while.


So, does it make sense to just hold off taking the next lvl?

I guess that goes as a general question for future levels as well?

short answer: not worth it to level yet.

longer: if you are having fun and are successfully doing the content you want to do then there's no reason to rush into the next level. Just make sure to level before you hit the exp cap of the next level. So when you have enough Exp to almost level to 10 then you'll need to level to 9 so you don't lose out on exp.

If that doesn't make any sense, then let me know because reading it back to myself I would probably not understand it.

I would wait only if you group with the same people all the time and they are 2 levels below you. If there are all level 8, I would probably level. There is plenty of Xp in the game and there is no real need to milk an extra 10 or 20k. The ultimate decision is up to you, if you want to wait then by all means wait, I've been there and I've done it myself.

Wait. Nothing hurt by waiting at this time given your normal gaming group and quest selections.

There's no harm in waiting, you can store up enough exp to gain a second level - 1 before it starts vanishing. If you enjoy the quest and don't want to out level it too much, just wait it out until you start getting bupkis for exp.
