Character Models not loading after launcher and server select.

Here is the situation:
Mac Book running Bootcamp Windows.
We were able to run the game fine before the patches completed downloading.
Once the patches were completed we chose to let D&D decide what the optimal graphic settings were based on our hardware and it chose "Very High" (not running DirectX10).
Now when we attempt to log-in to the game we are able to get into the character selection screen but the character model renderings do not load. If we attempt to create a new character no models nor the sounds that the character would make (while swinging their classes weapons) are loading either.
If we just try to choose the character (without the model loading) we are just stuck on the loading screen.
-We are aware of people saying that you must run the game from the Turbine Download Manager and we are doing so (though we did attempt to run the game directly with the D&D shortcut before seeing this tip in the forums).

We are NOT receiving any error codes.

I don't know if this is on the forums already because after using the search functions EVERY person seems to be having issues that have the same keywords as ours and we just don't feel like searching through pages of errors because we are not receiving any particular ones.

EDIT: Issue fixed, ran a repair/validation scan.

the exact same thing happens every time i try to login now. the character loading screen keeps saying it's downloading the character models but nothing happens. please help. is there a precedent to this?
