    Unhappy Alt-tabbing resets gamma setting

I'm having a problem when I alt-tab to the desktop or to another window, it resets the gamma to the default setting, making many of the adventure zones so dark that I can't see anything. Once the gamma resets, I can't readjust it, and the only way to fix it I can find is to close the game and restart it. Any idea what might be causing this, or how I can stop it from happening?

Does this happen as well if you disable Aero?

Resurrecting this thread because I have been dealing with this issue for WAAAYY to long now, and I'm hoping someone has a solution.

I would like for DDO to use my desktop gamma settings and not its own settings, OR if it must use its own settings I would like it to NOT adjust my desktop gamma when I tab out.

    Hi Xionanx,

I'm using Nvidia drivers 8.17.12.8026 under Windows 7 64 bit.

Turning Options>Graphics>Full screen to off in DDO (i.e. playing 'windowed') directly aligns the game with desktop gamma.
