I don't know how to recieve my items from auctionner

I bought out a docent, but I couldn't find it in my inventory. I could use some help. Is there something I don't know?

When you win an auction, the item is mailed to you. Check your mailbox.

And when you check your mail, remember to Detach the item from the mail.

Go to your mailbox, it's an unfurled scroll on your map. I think it's orange but i'm colorblind so forgive me if it's not. When you open it hit detach and it's instantly put in your inventory. Check to make sure it's there before deleting the mail.

Also, a little shield with a unicorn head appears on your target orb whenever you receive mail.
