    Yep. And there's nothing wrong with that. However, my statement was regarding the idea that "the toughest boss in the game" should be soloable, which to me is kind of nonsensical.

    It's a fine line to walk, really. MMOs need to have a good chunk of content that can be done solo, because there's a sizable portion of any game's playerbase that demands it. However, you can't make the ENTIRE game soloable, because that just turns it into a single-player game, and people will drift off after a while out of boredom.

    DDO has a pretty good balance right now, I think.

    I see arguments being made from both sides for that, honestly.

    I'm more against the idea than for it but I can see sound arguments to permit the toughest boss in an MMO to be soloed.

    The only thing I'll add is that I have not and do not (as I've said repeatedly) want anything made easier - I just don't want an artifically forced group. I've absolutely no objections whatsoever to the toughest boss so tough that 95% of full raid groups get killed off by him and no one in the history of the game ever successfully solos him. I just want the right to TRY, without being forced to bring more people along just for some levers, not for the difficulty.
