noob question-->shared bank tab, and adv packs

Can someone explain to me how the shared bank tab works? I have purchased that account upgrade from DDO Store but was told later that there are no "bank vaults" in this game. Is this only for mailing items to other characters on same account/server?

2nd question I have is about the advanture packs. for example I have purchased the catacombs and shan-to-kor packs and this is silly but where do i go to start them?

In the Harbor there is a bank guy and you open up inventory and place them into the bank... just open up you map and look over the icons for the banker

Now the catacombs and sharn to kor are both in the marketplace
