Render: 2 Monk/6 Ranger/12 Paladin

I have a 12ranger / 6 pally / 2 monk build.. very similar.

I was strongly considering a true reincarnate and switch to 12pally 6 ranger... however I'm still undecided... KOTCII vs. GTWF and more Favored Enemy / 5 barkskin...

i'm fancinated about the different combo of builds and it is hard to choose a 'best' one because i think it depends on what you want to be really good at when you r lvl 20. often there are tradeoffs and i understand things are not perfect. :-)

i tho have a question around weapon finesse and monk stances... so i have been following this thread for a while and im wondering if the monk stances, ie lvl 1 discipline of breeses, stack with zeal or tempest? i don't remember seeing anyone mentioning in the thread so is it because ppl get 2 lvl of monk merely for evasion, extra feats, 1 add'l AC and etc? since i am going for weapon finesse and assuming i can get some nice monk kama (say para, vorpal, or whatever) do you think it is worthwhile to consider have the monk wind stance to boost up attack speed and using monk weapons? hopefully this will also stack with either tempest or zeal?

originally i am thinking of getting exotic weapon prof- khosplsh but i don't think it goes with weapon finesse nor any monk stances? so i know i will be losing a bit in dps if i end up with kama (1d6) vs khosplsh (1d8)?

Dont know much about monk stances, but the main difference between khopesh and kama is not the base damage hit dice, but the critical range and multiplier, the khopesh has the best ratio on that regard in the game, wich makes it the single best weapon in most of the cases, but khopesh is not finesseable, thats for sure, and i guess you cant use monk stances with them, but as i said, i dont know much about monks.

Usually all the different class attack speeds increases stack with each other, so most probably that monk one stacks with zeal or tempest.

The monk splash for paladins its usually for evasion + feats + wis to ac (some builds dont even try for ac anyway so they do it for evasion + feats). Of course, if you are taking 2 levels of monk, and you get some other goodies from that, you will use them, but nobody takes monk because those goodies.

The same for the rogue splash, people picks rogue for evasion + umd, they have attack speed boost, sneak attack, and some extra skill points aswell, but you dont take rogue for those.
