    Default Kobold Shaman

    Please, for the love of god and all that is holy, remove their ability to jump 3 stories straight up and back and land on empty air, making it all but impossible for melee characters to hit them because they are out of range, yet can still get hit by every spell thrown.

    just run away and do something else in the quest (like smash a box, or kill a kobold thrower) and then by the time you're done with that he'll have jumped down and you can kill him.

    He will jump back up there again after you hit him again.

    Had the little buggers do this to me many times and it drives me bonkers. Starting to develop a bald spot.

    I now carry some ranged damage spell just for this occasion, as long as I don't forget to have it loaded.

    but.....ranging them does work ya know......and you can do it from so far away that his spells cant reach you either.

    My biggest complain with it isn't them jumping around, it's with the fact that they can jump straight up and stay there with nothing below them except 9 feet of empty air.

    I've only made it to level 6 and already I'm SICK-TO-DEATH of ALL kobolds. Shamans are just the worst ones.

    And they're not the only mobs that jump up and back with ridiculous speed -- but caster seem to be the worst offenders.

    Edit: And yes, Ranging them can work -- Shoot, duck behind a wall, step back out and shoot again, duck back behind cover, ad nauseum. >(
