    Default Quick Question

I am new to the game, but enjoy it so much I already became a VIP. My question is, when I started as a free player I chose cleric as my class and chose the pre-packaged Warpriest preset. I have taken it for 4 levels thus far and only recently came to the forums and started reading about builds and what not.

I keep seeing how important balance and UMD are for a battlepriest build, but I checked last night and it seems taking the preset package all 4 levels it has put all my skill points into concentration. My question is is this build still salvable if I quit taking the preset at level up and start adding points into UMD, balance etc. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

umd is only useful if maxed and for clerics actually its only useful for the teleport spell which just saves time though

balance is useful, yes, but i guess the warpriest build you took just doesnt haveenough skillpoints per level to get balance and concentration both up

clerics only get int+2 points per lvl, and most start with an int of 8, means only 1 point per lvl and there concentration is the most important

if you go human, you get an extra point per lvl which would allow you to max both

So, I should keep maxing concentration every level then? I know it is the most important because of spell interupts also. I am not sure what feats I have taken anyway, but it seems like that preset build is melee capable but still able to heal fairly well. I can solo most things up to hard mode fairly easy with my buffs and heals, except for a few things....and a friend of mine and I can take most elite quests (so far) but I fear that in higher levels I will be gimped without balance, at least for soloing.

drop concentration and go balance or jump.

    Heres why.

    QUICKEN

As a battle cleric you will almost always be in the thick of it, 1 failed concentration check means you or a party member is dead. Quicken costs extra spell points to use but IMHO is more than worth it. As a battle cleric you will be hated in pugs and loved in guild/regular parties. As to balance and jump, the only time a battle cleric dies is when you cant get a heal off. Buffs prevent or help with most disabling effects. But trip is a STR or DEX check to see if you get knocked down, the quicker you get up (balance check), the quicker you can heal and get the mob beat down. Jump is very useful when kiting mobs through a blade barrier in narrow confines. Jump caps at 40 Pt's which is easily obtainable with 10 skill points spent.

So to do that I would need to re-roll, yes? I don't mind doing that as I am only level 4 and it took me like 2 days of playing to get there. I started noticing alot of the bosses using knockdowns and have died once or twice on Elite quest bosses because I could not get a heal off. What ratio of concentration/balance/jump would you suggest? Again, thanks for the advice.
