Veterans leveling toons in 8 to 14 range READ THIS

Newbs will always be welcome in my groups, and if they are just annoying, they will get booted and squelched, so deal with it like a man!

sure it is....my main issue is the people who are jumpin into this thread and bashing the OP aren't even from Sarlona. So they are making assumptions about someone they have never grouped with. When I post on the forums is is normally on Sarlona.....I don't go to other servers and judge ****** bags for what they have to say....I got enough of em here. Maybe he worded it wrong.....but when I read it I understood what it meant....it wasn't hard to figure out. I didn't take what he put as....I'm UBER and I hate NEWBS.

Isnt it possible many of those peeps also play on sarlona (many of them do but not all) While I agree I can do without the trolls, I dont necessarily disagree with them either. IMO the op should suck it up and put together a channel for peeps he know leveling lowbies, not come here and make a list. But thats JMO and I didnt think i needed to repeat it. OTOH you are notorious for trolling the Sarlona threads, so to see you come in here and say that is a little silly imo. Im not saying its good or bad that you do, but cmon, your in here as much as anyone giving your 2c.

I guess you take my bad attempts at humor on some of your threads as trolls....if so that's an issue with you man. I treat the forums much like I treat the game....it's all fun cause none of it really matters once I log. I try to stick up for things I think are right....and what the OP did isn't bad IMO...so I see no need to attack him for what he wrote.....if ya remember right I did the same for you and your last Whiny Shroud thread were they wouldn't let ya in at 13.....can't say I agreed with it....but I felt you were kinda right.....kinda.

It's a fine conumdren--
I joined a Vale quest half way through in the past couple days, the lvl 16 caster died 8 times alone while I was in there--we were on normal. .. One shotted mostly, no chance for me or the other Healer to heal.

I like the social aspect and want to meet new people, even help new people--and I don't care if someone is a vet or not--but I avoid any vets that have the tendency to die more than a few times in a quest/raid--so while I of course want to give everyone a chance--I don't really want to group with people who jsut aren't ready for the content that they are running as I also don't always have the 70 mins to do a quest that I normally do in 15- 20.

New to DDO, (quickly upgraded to premium),,,BUT not new to gaming and certainly not new to D&D (played in pen and paper and the very original ones to pc,,,long before the internet!!!

I can see the idea Turbine had on the f2p, nice idea and got me to try

BUT sheesh, try and learn the game with all the sorts around,

Not really grouping as the run in and blast crowds just get everybody killed, doesn't anybody teach some tactics?

And the kind of misinformation going around in general is amazing, but then all the research to do on webpages is a task in itself.

Have committed 10 years to another game, with some years in there devoted to a couple others so I can imagine how the longstanding community can get frustrated with all the new ones around (gripes I'm in DDO and having to learn about wow! I mean comeon!) BUT stop for a second about how the newbies at least some of them might be feeling too
