YOU WILL NOTE THAT I DO NOT HAVE IMPROVE CRIT: SLASHING. Initially I had it until I aquired my Mineral II Khopeshes. After that, I found no need for this feat as my alt weapons have keen on them anyway and/or because its a vorpal.

    +1 to reflex from Haste

THESE SAVES DO NOT ACCOUNT FOR BARD SONGS, BUT REALLY DO YOU CARE WITH SAVES LIKE THAT

    Base Skills
Looking at the skills for this character there are essentially 3 main skills and a few dumps here and there. The primaries are as follows:

    UMD
    Balance
    Jump

Depending how you want your character to turn out and what Intelligent tomes you are able to eat/read will dictate how many skill points you are able to disperse. I was fortunate to have eaten a +2 Intelligent tome from inception and ate a +3 Intelligent tome at level 16, so I get a few more skill points then most. But you must remember one thing, for this character to have any decent UMD you must put all skill points possible into UMD and try to eat a +2 Tome as early as possible (level 7).

Since this build is meant for survival I would place importance on skill allocation in the following order UMD, Balance, Jump, I dispursed the rest into Sneak, Hide and Spot with 1 skil point going into Tumble at inception of the build. If you somehow are able to maximize tome allocation for the minimum level and have additional skill points, a few into diplomacy and intimidate might come in handy.

    UMD
KEY BUFFS and COMMENTS: With new clickies that are more reliable then ever and with some traditional clickies, you are able to ease the pain of having to "make" that UMD check for possible failure. Some of the new and traditional clickies include:
Raise dead,True Ressurection, Stoneskin, Displacement and Haste.
Key buffs not on clickies....or should I say "decent" clickies:
    Shield (10th level) (UMD 38)
    Recitation
    Other scrolls that are handy:
    Raise Dead(UMD DC 36)
    Heal(UMD DC 40)
    Restoration(UMD DC 32)
    Resurrection(UMD DC 44)
    Greater Teleport(UMD DC 44)
    Spell Resistance Mass(UMD DC 44)

Now putting that into perspective, Mini-Me is not going to be sitting around, maxed out on UMD at all times. In fact, he will be riding his base UMD most of the time. What I am pointing out though is he can, sit back fully buffed and be a quasi-wanna-be-cleric in reserve, or can in the beginning of a long and hard quest, ease the cleric or casters mana by supplementing with basic buffs while upping his own AC buffs.

Based on potential UMD projections with Mini-Me, you can establish the following:
    10 Base (10 +2 tome =11)
    04 Greater Heroism
    03 Charisma item
    06 Shroud item(s)
05 7-fingered gloves (Golden Cartouche is only +03)
    02 Head of good fortune/recitation
    31
    03 Bunnny Hat
01 If your able to get exceptional +2 Charsima added to a possible Charsima Ring (TOD Ring)
    35 MAX

    HIT POINTS AT LEVEL 20
With Toughness and using all but the last fighter toughness he will be at a base of 331 (With a +2 Tome)
    +10 from favor in Gianthold
    +30 Greater False Life
    +45 Shroud Item
+20 Minos Legens (Mod 9 will be changing it from 18 to a 20hp increase)
    +60 from a +6 Con item
+05 from The Monk Patient Torotios enhancement
    For a grand total of:
    501
    +40 with a +3 tome and a +2 Exceptional Con
    541

    Fighter Kensai II
    Fighter Strategy (Stunning Blow) II

KEY NOTE: Ultimately you set up your enhancements how you want. I found this to be my best set-up for the time. Obviously if you accrue better tomes, there might be additional reduction in other enhancement areas which can open up more action points. I personally would try and apply any additional action points into cunning/guile, but ultimately its up to you.

    HEALS ala DRAGONMARKS

This was the key factor for this build. Not only did I want good DPS good AC and good saves, but I wanted the de facto Heal! With all the dragon marks and my ranger devotion II and my Greater Devotion added to my TOD ring,(raid Item), he currently hits, at max, 240 - 350 hitpoints in heals x5 clickies, 80-160 hitpoints in cure serious wounds x7 clickies, 25-60+ cure lights x9 clickies. He doesnt punch out as many hitpoints as my paladin splash and I do use a belt boost to squeeze out a few more hitpoint regens, but overall I am truly happy with the self-healing aspect.

The beauty about dragon marks though is they dont use material components and there isno concentration checks for them!!!!

    EQUIPMENT:

Yes this build is equipment tied, but that is not to say he needs everything, he just needs everything to be all he can be like any other character. Obviously I have chosen particular equipment over others for specific reasons and you might not agree with the set-up but it works for me and I feel the equipment used gives the most of what I want from this build.

Thus far his daily wear looks like this:

[PLEASE SEE POST 31 FOR ITEMS]

And that should do it folks - hope you like this build or are interested as it is truly a fun build.

    cheers!

Ahhh yes, the allusive first feat. You need to go to the marketplace and take the test offered up by Lockania. Walk Inside And Speak To Her Again.

She Will Give You A Series Of Questions.

Some Of The Questions And Answers Of This Quest:

    Q. Which Now-lost Mark Appeared With The Mark Of Shadow?
    A. Mark Of Death

    Q. Which House Is The Greatest Military Power?
    A. House Deneith

    Q. What House Created The Lightning Vail And Warforged?
    A. House Cannith

    Q. Who Operates The Courier's Guild And Lightning Rail?
    A. House Orien

    Q. What Two Guilds Are Operated B House Deneith?
    A. Defenders And Blademarks

    Q. Which Race Wears The Mark Of Healing?
    A. Halflings

    Q. What Is House Phiarlan's Secret Business?
    A. Espionage

    Q. What Power Does The Mark Of Passage Grant?
    A. Teleport

    Q. House Kundarak Is Responsible For What Service?
    A. Banking

Q: Where Did House Jorasco Finally Settle?
    A: Karnath

Q: What Spell-like Ability Does The Greater Mark Of Passage Grant
    A: Teleport

Q: When Did The Mark Of Warding Appear, And Amongst Whom?
    A: 2500 Years Ago, Dwarves

Q: Which Skill Does The Mark Of Making Give?
    A: Repairing

Once you have completed this task you need to speak with, "Fred", who is located in House Jorasco, just past the teleporter under the garden.

Fred will let you change your feat once for free. Change whatever feat you initially took in lieu of the dragonmark.

    hope that helps.

Welll since monk is introduced your going to have two options, lawful good or lawful neutral.

I went lawful good for all the good aligned weapons as I progressed through the levels, but in hindsight lawful neutral is not a bad choice either as you can use the Litany (raid item) without having a negative effect; in fact there are several items that have "taint of evil" which adversley effect you being lawful good while they dont effect lawful neutral. Int he end you decide, but If I was TRing my character again, this time i think I would go Lawful Neutral.

Equip them as soon as you are able to.

Yes, you will never been centered unless your using handwraps a stave or kama(s). But your character is not designed around being centered. While being uncentered you loose the ability to use monk stances and you loose 1 ac (inherent Monk AC). However you still retain your monk wisdom ac bonus and keep your evasion.

All characters hit sluggish at low levels.

I have 3 questions about your monk fighter pally build

    1) you do not give a value for the + strength gloves. is this a typo?

    2) I do not see a feather fall item. Is it built in to a named item? or do you not need one because of a feat or enhancement i do not see.

    3) Where does haste come in with your calcs. Pots or wiz/sorc buffs, or am i missing something?? I am still a noob to builds.

but i like it that you tell all enhancements and feats by levels as some builds just list enhancements and do not say if there is a specific order to get them. ++rep

    The Pally Build.
    1. Typo - its a +6 Strength Glove; moreover I use a named item called the "Titan's Grip" which is a +6 strength glove but also has three charges of +6 Psyonic Strength that last for a minute. (This (psyonic) strength was not added to the overall strength)

    2. Yes. The names item my feather fall item is on is called the "Mummified Bat" which I wear as a trinket.

    3. The only reference i made about haste is in regard to the total output of my AC. As such, you can either use a pot or have it casted upon you. Additionally, some crafted Shroud Items have clickies of haste that last a bit longer then general haste clickies found on other items.

Default Update on Little Aluecian and some changes

Well hes come a long way and He still is nto complete (perhaps lack of effort on my part) But still I wanted to make some changes and will address his changes, and his endgame gear and potential.

    TOMES
I have yet to pull a +4 tome and do not think I ever will, but if I ever do, it would only facilitate additional potential damage as I would be able to decrease things like Dexterity or Strength Enhancements and focus more on Halfling Cunning and Guile; moreover stunning blow fighter enhancements.

    CHANGE IN CLASS PROGRESSION
I noted the change in the build progression levels, but I originally started my first level with Monk. This was not the greatest move, but I did it nonetheless. AS such, you should start with Ranger, Ranger, Monk, then fighter and go forward through the progression I laid out.

    STUN
I ended up dropping improve trip and added Stunning blow which has become very effective in endgame. I current base DC to Stun using the Tenderizer from the Reaver Raid is at +10(stun feat)+10(tenderizer)+11(base 32 str)+1(TR fighter)+1(fighter enhancement)=33

    Add +1(rams might)+1(Rage pot)+3(Titan Gloves)+1(Turbine pot)+4(Kensai Power surge)+1 (Madstone)+1(Double Madstone) = 45

I Plan on Tring again with the same makeup giving me another +1 to my DC and with completing my +3 tome set I will be able to line out my Stunning Enhancement line for another +3 to my Stun. FUTURE DC SHOULD REACH 49.

    AC
He is not the end-all be-all in AC. But being a duel weilding strength build with lots of versatility is what makes him fun. Add very decent AC and he is problematic for those would be monsters.

    Current:
    10 base
    01 size,
    01 dodge feat,
    05 combat experties,
    08 Icy Rainment,
    01 Alchemical AC bonus,
    08 Armour Bracers,
04 Shroud Insight on my Min II khopesh,
    08[dex] (16 base+3 tome, +5 Spectral Gloves, +1 Halfling Dex, +1 Ranger dex),
06 [wis] (12 base, +2 tome, +6 Shroud Cloak, +2 Exceptional from my Min II Khopesh)
    01 Haste
    02 Turbine Pot
    02 UMD Recitation/or spell
02 UMD Shield wand (10th lvl)
    02 Tempest I
    03 Barksin
    64

FUTURE AC AND CURRENT THINGS ID LIKE TO ADD
Obviouslt there is room to grow here.
    03 Chattering ring
03 (+2 from EPIC Spectral gloves AND +1 exceptional from the augment slot); Halfling Dexterity II (Alternatively +4 Dex tome less the Halfling Dexterity) = 30 Dex
01 +5 Protection item which can be slotted in either my necklace or boots slot.
01 (+3 Wisdom Tome and Monk WIsdom Enahncement I; Alternatively +4 Wisdom Tome)
    72

    Alternative AC and additions
    02 Ranger Bark Skin
    04 Bard
    78

    RARE AC Exception
    06 Paladin Aura
    84

    ENDGAME GEAR:
I would like to think I put alot of effort into this build for gear I would also like to thank the people who helped me optimize gear set-ups as well. (Thank you Burndem)

    Current: Future
Helm = Minos Legens No Change
Goggles = Shroud Aspect of Dust etc OR Tharnes No Change
Trinket = Bloodstone, Pearl of Sirinis, Mummified Bat No Change

    Wink Why Kopeshes?

I still don't understand why you chose Kopeshes :P the 17-20 crit range is nice but I believe that Dwarven axes would be better even though the MIN 2 crit range is 19-20 because they have a 2d8 instead of the kopesh 1d10 (green steel) which for me means higher DPS output. And if you know me you know i love my DPS.

And if you know me you know i love my DPS.
Crit range is more important for everyday mobs then anything. DA are nice but they are comparable IMO to the khopesh only if your a dwarf with the DA enhancements.

Your higher DPS output is on base value. I crit 200-230 (high 245) on my khopeshes. And when beating on Sulu or Horoth watching a crit, crit, crit, crit, crit, crit in a row simply does it for me. Moreover, your build version of this is a Dwarf, so id expect you to go DA.

Pally build is nice because you can work him into a decent intimitank with excellent saves and more healing via halfling dragonmark and empower healing.

The Ranger splash simply provides more DPS and otheer facets like manyshot diehard and spring attack.

As for as the Khopesh v DA. Id stick with Da's because you already built them, no point changing them. You will out dps me in some categories while I will outshine you in others. Its completely negligeable at this point.

Good luck in whatever you decide and happy hunting

your call really. I would put those two extra points into wisdom or charsima. You would have to weigh in on what would benefit you most. Higher will save AC and a nominal boost to your LOH or higher over all save base and UMD.

Actually id drop CHA to an 8 put that extra into wis them dump the other two TR ability into wisdom
