    Default Trouble installing-

So while installing I get an error about the .NET framework 3.5. It says it's unable to install it and I should do it manually. So I go and try it manually. I get an error right after it says "You may not disconnect from the internet." I went to the log and it says error code 1. Any ideas?

You need to post a dxdiag (instructions are in the sticky at the top of the forum) in order for me to be sure, but this sounds like your machine may not meet the minimum requirements for .net framework 3.5.

Ok. I see 1014 MB RAM, which is very strange, but it meets the minimum requirements for both .net 3.5 and DDO. I don't see a video card or GPU, but that shouldn't stop you from installing .net 3.5.

Go here and choose to download the full redistributable package. It's more than halfway down the page. Perhaps your issue is with your internet connection, rather than with your computer's ability to install the framework.

If you have issues downloading the package, you might try going to pingtest and testing your internet connection, although the problem you describe is more likely to be intermittent than static.

Regardless, if you plan to play DDO on the machine whose specifications you posted, you will likely want to install more RAM, in order to enjoy the game at full speed, but that may just be my opinion.

Still not working. Same error over and over. Can't be a problem with my internet, though. Thanks for the help. I will keep messing with it. Maybe someone else has any ideas.

Wow. Thought my CPU was slow. Mine is 1.86GHz... I've only got 1GB of RAM, also.
