Default I'd like some advice on making a WF FS... healer with a 2 hander..

I like the idea alot, it's a mix of conflicting views, but it works for me.

How to make it work though? I've gotten to level 5 so far, and the heals, though flentiful, suck. And my damage seems really sub par... any build suggestions so i can remake him before I've invested any more time in?

Take all the healing enhancements, take empower or empower healing...they'll start getting big quick.

I went (32pnt build)18STR...8DEX...16CON...8INT...6WIS...14CHA, I think. Anyways, i aslo took 2 lvls of paly and NO body feat. Although i may get on later.

Also you want to take Empower healing/Empower spell/ Maximize. These all stack with one another.

I am also lvl 5..(2paly/3FvS)...and my SELF heals suck. But they will get better. You just have to be patient untill you start getting some potency items or devotion items.
Helm of the Flame(drops in Stormcleave Outpost) is usable at lvl 5. Drops almost every run. Gives Improved Devotion III, I believe, maybe Devotion III. anyways. Just keep the FAITH. Pun Intended!!

With those points you won't be casting anything except heals and buffs I assume?

i got 1 in the works now lev 9....staying pure fvs on a forgie imo is the best way to go... 15 dr end game(10 at lev 20, 2 body feat and 3 enh)...i forget wat my stats r currently but the important ones will be at end game 32 wis,22chr,22con,28 str...will be geared up like a barb(healing amp and guards)...can still throw down, decent dc for bb, com fall, etc..,and enough sp get thru a quest....not really built for a party healer but can still throw mass cures while fighting to help out

Your heals are going to get better as you approach level 10. Make sure you are picking up the Favored Soul Life Magic enhancements as they become available for up to a 40% increase, and also get yourself a Superior Devotion or other such item for a stacking 50% increase.

A Warforged FvS is going to be feat-starved enough without taking Improved DR, so don't plan on having it. Focus on THF or TWF feats, or go with more metamagic if you have a high Wisdom stat. (I highly suggest Empower over Empower Healing because you can take FvS enhancements to reduce Empower's cost and it works for both offensive and healing spells.)

For your specific build focusing on high STR, I would suggest going with the THF feats and a nice greatsword.

Thanks for the good advice, it seems like I made a few mistakes, but nothing serious. So far I really like this character, especially as a first toon, soloing alot and getting small groups here and there.

I tried the THF feats on mine, but in the end they do not really make too much of a difference. I do not miss them much at all. I swapped them out for meta magic feats. namely empower heal plus the empower spell meta with enhancements.

As a result, I can heal far better than before during combat via the mass cure spells without sacrificing much at all in DPS output.

With a min II greatsword, the Power attack + Lord of Blades feats + to hit bonus items + feats + WF PA and the FvS THF enhancements are all you need for decent DPS for most mobs.

quicken, empower heal, empower spell, healing enhancements, and Superior potency 6 will keep most groups healed up just fine while also DPSing along side them. If need be you can easily drop out of the front lines, turn off quicken and empower spell, and concentrate on being a healer just as good as any cleric.

This is also the best solo build I have tried by far to date.

at start I went 16 str, 16 con, 9 CHA, 8 wis, 12 int, rest into dex. level ups into STR.
