Got myself one of these to find out it doesn't stack with the Golden Cartouche (which I think is bogus, btw...one is charisma skills and the other is specifically UMD), so I am looking to trade it.
I am looking for larges (no chains, horns or bones) and offers for plat are always considered.

They're both competence bonuses - same thing with say, a command item and the Cartouche. It's still very nice though, as it lets you use a different slot.

Guess I had it in my head that it would be more like a natural and deflection bonus to ac, different...so they stack. But I was definitely wrong.
