Quarterstaff monk, is it worthwhile?

I have a low lvl monk and i was giving a try to the monk weapons... so... ¿Is it worthwhile a monk with quaterstaff? I have seen threads talking about kamas and unarmed monks bot nothing about this. (Or very little)

Quarterstaves are nice for monks, but situational.
If you want a q-staff build, look into 12 rogue / 6 monk / 1 x acrobat builds
