5 guildies +1 pugger = poor guild cohesivness or ******** guildies.

No group with 5 guildies should need a pugger IMHO, unless MAYBE its a top end raid group.

Edit: BTW, I dont care either way if they impliment it...just giving a viable option

THis comes up every few weeks or so. Most people fully understand why someone would want to be able to do this, but the real experience has been that is causes far too many headaches and gets very abused.

Personally I've always advocated the group vote to boot, even if it had to be unanimous.

The generally accepted solution has become recall, break, and reform. From a purely "booting someone should be painful" perspective this is just fine, but it is, obviously, clunky.

I think the group leader should have the ability to teleport anyone in the group to his/her current location at any time (group member can decline to be teleported)

You already can do this: Everyone drop, and then reinvite all but one of the previous members. Restart the quest.

    Easy.

"Give me your muckdoom or I kick you out of the group!" Not a good idea at all.

As for the play style suggestion, it would be nice but not really needed, you can write that down in the group decription, I see it done a lot already.

The reason I am asking for this feature is that some players choose not to follow the play style chosen by the leader. For example a player may zerg and race to the finish even when the LFM said slow dungeon crawl, and after discussing the expectations before the quest. While inside, the leader has no way to enforce the group's will on the miss behaving player. So you may find 5 players who want to take it slow, and 1 zerger that ruins the fun for the rest.

Today, your only option is to ask everyone to leave the dungeon, reform the party and enter again. My suggestion: Remove the player (boot him actually). This will not count as XP penalty for the group. The player will immediately leave the dungeon and the group. In fact, it will be like he never was part of it in the first place.

Also, I would like to see an improvement to the LFM mechanism. I would like to add the option to choose the group playstyle:
    - Slow Dungeon Crawl
    - Zerg, XP / Favor only
    - Role play
    - etc. add more options. Right now you are only able to control playstyle by the given text box, which may not be enough.

Thanks in advance. I think helping groups play their preferred style is a critical part of enjoying the game, and it's relatively easy to achieve.

Whatever number is just over 50% of the group.

6 people, four must vote out.
5 people, three must vote out. etc.

Just write what type of group you want in the lfm. I don't think another flag in the quest box would help. To be honest, I rarely look at that part. I read what the leader types though; every time.

It could lead to griefing, yes, but you'd have to have the majority of the party do it. You could even have it provide an auto report to the GM and an email to the booted player showing who voted them out and what guilds they are in. If people know there will be hard evidence of it, it might (might) reduce griefing. It would also make it easier to report any griefing.

In my opinion, if it's really that much of a problem, let the guy zerg, while the rest of you hang back and have a dance party or something.

It's free XP and loot for the rest of the group after he has taken care of it all for you.

IF he dies in the process however, do not res him. Instead, leave him to rot. But pay attention to his health bar. If he releases his spirit, his health will begin to raise again, indicating that he has left the dungeon. That is your window of opportunity to kick him out. Especially before he manages to get back in and ruin your persistence bonus.

    Booyah!
