    Default BiS Item Guide?

I'm having a hell of a time trying to decide what type of item to put where. I'm level 9 and I want to know what items I should be trying to get for each of the slots, which would be best suited where so I don't waste that slot for a better item in another one.

If someone could give me run down for each slot in the 10-15 range I'd be very grateful.

I'm assuming Minos Legens is BiS(Best in Slot) Head for a long time.

I plan on using The Storm Reavers Prophecy ring at 13 so I can cast my 1st level spells and get some Res to saves.

Well, it entirely depends on what kind of build you are: TWF, THF, S&B... Each has different needs and requirements for effectiveness.

OK, so Zeal + Tempest, gotcha.

You want the highest +Str, Con and Cha you can get, obviously. Non-RR'd items are +4 at that level, so try to hunt those down.

Minos Legens is one of the top helmets in the game, because it's a stacking 20HP and Heavy Fort. Some people prefer a Mineral 2 helmet, but you can't get that for a while yet, so don't worry about that.

What weapons are you using, and what's your Dex look like? Also; what race?

You should definitely fit in a Greater False Life item as well, when you can.

    What's RR'd mean?
    I'm a Drow, I went 16 16 12 10 8 16 IIRC. I've +1 Tomed all my stats.
I used a Feat for Khopesh(I still haven't decided If I want to use Rapiers or Khopesh.) because I have a butt load from my Rogue that I've become bored of at 15.

Should I use Heavy Armor, Light, Robes? I ask because I have a +7 Armor Bracer for 13. I could get Dragontouched Leather too.

I have a Planar Gird Belt that I chest pulled luckily, how long will this last me? Should I even be using this?

RR'd means Race Restricted, which lowers the minimum level requirement by 2.

For a Drow with the Enhancements, I believe (I'm no good with numbers, but I read discussions) the rapier works in your favor over khopesh.

I'd go with whatever armor gives you the best effects, honestly. Pure Pali with no shield or monk splash, you may as well not worry too highly about AC.

Also; always hold onto the Planar Gird. In fact, try to get a 2nd or even 3rd one, because they're one of the most valuable pieces of equipment you could have for any character, save maybe for arcane casters.

Ahh. So I guess that's why my Elf, Drow +7 AC Bracers are only level 13.

I've read many posts about the DPS numbers and it's like a 1 damage difference in the Khopesh's favor. But that usually doesn't include the nifty Drow Enhancements, which is why I'm beginning to lean toward Rapiers.

My AC is 32 - Saves are 19, 18, 12. I think they're fairly good for Lv.9... Higher than my 15 Rogues. Haha.

So I should continue to use the Gird for awhile? Then what should I replace it with later on?

The Gird is what we call a "clickie". You can equip other items in your belt slot, and when you want to cast the Greater Heroism on the Gird, you can just use your hotbar to switch to it, then click it again when either targetting yourself or nothing to cast the spell, then switch back to the first belt.

Lots of items are like this. Putting them on the hotbar both decreases the amount of time it takes to switch items (annoying to have to dig through your backpack to find the right ring, for instance) and works in your favor for checking to see if you really do need to shrine right then or not.

Unless I'm mistaken, the rapier lags behind the khopesh by quite a bit unless you take the enhancements, after which it's a very close second.

The real question to ask is are you more in need of the extra feat, or more in need of the AP?

Paladins need both, so the real question is "which do you prefer for flavor" or "which do you need more: APs or Feats".

For a pure Pally, I'd say Feats are more needed than APs.
