Default Can multiclassers still choose paths?

What are some of the downsides to multiclassing? I am currently a level 3 Rogue/1 Fighter, and it wasn't until after I multiclassed that I found out about Rogue paths.

While it said when I multiclassed that I would lose the path I was currently on, I didn't give it any thought. I just figured that if you were on a path, you'd have to retrain it.

Is it still possible for me to choose one of the Rogue paths (I am very interested at the Thief-Acrobat path) at 6th level Rogue or are those enhancements lost to me?

Sounds like you may be confusing "prestige enhancement" with "path".

The paths are just a way for the game to automatically make choices for you when you level up. If you leave a path by making a choice of your own, the game doesn't let you go back to autopilot

If you want to take a prestige enhancement (such as rogue:Acrobat), just look at the Enhancements tab on your character sheet, and check the "show unavailable" box. Then scroll down to Rogue Specialty, uncollapse it, and mouse over Rogue Acrobat I to find out what the prerequisites are. Be sure to take the right feats & enhancements by the time you have 6 rogue levels, and you'll be ready to take the Acrobat enhancement.

Sweet, I never knew what that meant. Thanks.. though i never do a defined path, I always did custom myself.

I love my Kensei Kittan Neopet.

Please DO remember, that pnp vs DDO is invalid, unless the PnP your talking about is strictly Eberron Settings. So do everyone a favor and not debate pnp vs DDO, since most D&D pnp Is not Eberron settings.

You can simply mimic the path by following its build (see http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Categ...th_Directories).
Note that enhancements are not included in a path, which can be a problem because some builds are relying heavily on some enhancements, and can be a bit broken if the player doesn't make the correct choice. It's not too hard to figure them out though (e.g. the Thief-Acrobat path should take the Thief-Acrobat line of enhancements).

    Thanks.
Yes, I was confusing 'pretige enhancement' with 'path'
