    Default Kensei wearing Monk Set

    Greetings all!

I have a 20 Kensei pure fighter. A few days ago, I pulled the Shintao ring from TOD and now I'm wearing the Monk Set for the additional +2 to hit and +2 to dmg.

Being that the set bonus for Kensei is +2 to hit plus another +3 to-hit for Kensei III enhancement, (brining the total to-hit bonus to +5) I don't know whether I should plan to just keep the Monk Set and craft with it or wait until i pull the Kensei ring from Tower.

The last thing my Kensei build needs IMO is added to-hit bonus. I only miss on 1's as it is so the +2 damage/per swing that the monk set offers seems like a better option. (Tempest is another possibility)

Is there ever a scenario where the Kensei +5 to-hit will come into play?- Epic quests pehaps? Or should I just plan on crafting with the Monk ring even though I'll get no teir III enhancement bonus?

I would use the shintao and fb sets on any dps build .. most people I know plan to do just that, if they're not kotc builds or another with an exceptional set bonus of its own.

Also, the Kensai stuff will eat your action boosts if you have to switch back and forth to other items for some reason.

The shintao set is definatly better for any melee... but the 2 extra action boosts from kensai neclace are also very handy for a kensai to maintain your dps for an additional minute or 2...
    Personal preferece i guess...

    Default one simple question

do you ever miss? on a fighter you shouldn't have any problem hitting anything. i'd go with the extra damage.
