finesse rogue light armor max dex bonus question?

i was curious, my rogue is finesse, level 8, with a 25 dex, giving her +7 mod. I'm curious if finesse rogues switch to cloth armor later on because of the dex bonus cap due to armor. cuz wouldn't all your dex base skills be nerfed once you got to +9 dex mod? (i'm wearing padded which gives a max dex bonus of 8, and i haven't seen any light armor with higher max dex bonus)

only youre ac is affected by the max dex, everything else dex related (skills, saves, tohit, etc) isnt

and yes, at some time dexbased chars will wear clothes esp if they get their hands on armor+6 (common), +7 (uncommon) or +8 (rare) bracers

Best armor i have come across for the rogue so far is the snakeskin vest , +8 max dex , +14 armor bonus , +10 to search and spot and is proof againist poison. Recieved for doing the lordsmarch area.
