    Default Who has scheduled raids?

I'm looking for a guild with consistent scheduled raid times. If you're guild fits, please post your raid times and then a short bit about your guild including size, 'primetime' for members being online, and whether there is much in-house grouping that goes on.

A bit about me: I'm an east coaster who has played lots of that OTHER mmo from its inception. I have been in a few hardcore raid guilds (i'm talking back in molten core and burning crusade when content was actually fun/challenging) as well as led what i considered to be a good, tightnit raid guild. I'm looking for a bit of a similar experience- raids on a schedule i can count on to get my fix- and a good group of enjoyable people to hoard phat lewt with. The character in question is in my sig.

Just wanted to chime in that I'm also curious about the raid oriented guilds on the server.

I've raided with guilds in other MMO's that locked down the server on contested for about a year. I play at the top of my class and do not forsee any difference now that I've switched to DDO. I'm glad that part of my MMO life is over (too much time requirement) but I'm still a hardcore player at heart. I want to experience the highest of the endgame and commit my time and energy into an active raid guild.

Can anyone chime in with their opinion on which guilds I need to focus on? I suppose I can read every single line entry but a starter list or at least a nudge in the right direction would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

    Default casual raid?

I wouldn't say that I'm a hardcore player by any stretch, although I and a few of my friends are looking to join in on the VoN raid sometime. It's pretty impossible to find enough people flagged for it with a pick up group. Either looking to do it on a weekend or starting around 8pm on a weeknight, Central US time. Anyone game?

First I'd like to mention that I'm not an officer and have no control over membership, I'm just filling a request from the OP. Also, our guild is currently "full", but we may have some spots opening before the new year. We only allow around 40 members in the guild at a time, and we purge inactive members often.

Our raids are usually between 8 pm and 11 pm eastern. In the past we were involved in server and game firsts (We were the first guild to ever beat the Dragon). These days, though, the raids are completed before they ever even hit live servers, so there's no chance to do this anymore.

What about other guilds that play at a later time (i.e. 7pm PST+) that has done Shroud / ToD / Reavers on elite?

you will not want to use reaver elite as a measuring stick. that raid is a joke, tod elite is fine

off the bat, the most raiding guilds so far seem to the free companions, elite raiders and prophets of the new republic. however, the are not application based. if you are good, you may get an invite and only if you fit in
If you want to know why...

The Free Companions arent actively seeking members no, however should we run across ppl who share our playstyles and attitude......Look for us and me and send a tell if you are interested. Currently we run 2 to 6 raids a day in guild depending on ppls schedules. We do raid frequently with Prophets and Elite Raiders esp later at night. As far as reqs go you can search for our guild posting in this forum or:

One Capped or near capped (17 or higher) Toon
    One FVS, Cleric or Bard
    2 Officers to vote in
    2 Week Probation

    Cya in game,

I'm not an officer either, but I'll expand on the post on Twilight Avengers:

    What we offer:
    - Nine year old guild spanning multiple MMO's. Proven longevity.
    - Scheduled raids. Raids are posted several days in advance, members sign up if they want to come. We do unscheduled raids as well, but the scheduled ones help you work around real life.
    - Approximately 30 members. It's rare for us to have to go to a waiting list for a raid during signup. If you join, you will get to raid.
    - Point based loot system, but if you pull it you get first rights.

    Typical playtime:
8:00 Eastern and later on weekdays
    Whenever on weekends
Most members are in North America

    Requirements:
    - Must have a main character, level 17+. This is expected to be your best geared, best played character.
    - Must be willing to download and use Ventrillo, at least to listen.

    How to Apply:
    • Go here: http://twilightavengersofeberron.yuku.com/forums/2
    • Read the Hot To... thread and make sure you understand the expectations.
    • Create a registered account (your name when you post will turn red).
    • Create a new thread: Playername, class, level
    • In the body, tell us about your build, any specializations, etc.
    • Tell us you agree to the expectations in the How To... thread.
    • We (more than likely) accept you on a trial. It's basically time for you to decide if you like us, and for your section leader to decide if you fit in.

    The unofficial stuff:
    - If you want to see what we are like, send a tell to a member and ask to speak to an officer.
    - We are a VERY melee heavy guild. In fact, you could make a good argument that we are the most melee centric guild on the server. Our style is not FoD, Firewall, Vorpal, Blade Barrier, etc. Our style is DPS.
    - As of this posting (9 December 2009) we are full. However, we expect to have more room soon. Even then, I don't see why we can't work something out.
