    Default Cold Shard stuck on mule.

    Hi guys. I'm back after a couple years absent to find that my cold shard (which was give able in my days) is now locked on my "mule". Is there any way with all this turbine point business to get that moves to my main?

    There was a bug with these, if i recall correctly, where after a early game patch people had logged in to find that their Chill Shard (named throwing dagger) was actually now a stack of 50 Chill Shards. With the following update, existing shards (including all which were split off from the stacks) were changed to be bound to character. I'm uncertain if newly looted Chill Shards are still bound, I don't think they are.

    If it is currently bound you are stuck with it there, as there is no way to unbind objects from characters.

    Next mod you could reroll the mule as something more useful if you wanted though.

    I hadn't thought of that! I'll be able to reincarnate my halfling cleric (holding a bound Dwarven Thrower) into something that can use it.

    Still won't play that char more than once every few months, but he'll be able (eventually) to chuk that axe.

    He'd be better off just trying to farm another one if he really had to have one. Other wise I got a +3 icy burst throwing axe of lawful outsider bane out of the vendor last night.
