    Default copy options

I just read someone in the Lama thread complaining about something that always bugs me to. The first thing I do with a new char is set up options. About 99% of them are the same char to char. The biggest challenge now is setting up colours and feedback options in the new combat feedback system (horrible idea btw giving us a very tiny colour box to choose from and not a standard windows colour selection interface). Getting these to match up is not easy and I really don't like the default choices.

Can't we PLEASE have an "export" and "import" option for our options so that we can save settings before we mess with them, easily revert back to any settings we have had, and effectively copy settings between chars?

AGREED! I change a few things around to make them a bit more obvious to me. When I first create a character I spend about 10 minutes changing everything and arranging my hotbars. Of the two the making sure I find and change all those options in the UI and Gameplay areas takes the longest.

Another thing that makes it a bit confusing is that some settings are specific to each character, and some are universal to your system, with no indication between. For example, volumes (sound effects, DM narration, etc.) are the same no matter what character I play, and changes I make to any of the volume sliders carry across when I log out of one character and log into another. However, whether or not voicechat is enabled is specific to each character. This is just one example I could have used. Not saying it should be changed, just labeled somehow as to which settings can be different for each character, and which cannot.
Tip #71: '3d6' means three six-sided dice are being rolled. For example, when you see that a weapon does '2d4' damage, it means that two 4-sided dice are rolled for damage, for a damage range of 2-8. <--Too difficult to understand? Really?
