Default Soloing DoS build ... returning player needs help

So this is my attempt at a solo pally that can still contribute in a party, looking for some help as I am not really sure what I am doing.

The dragonmark feats seem like fun but maybe THF feats would be better when I want some extra DPS?

Also, I am not at all sure on the spells, if someone can help point me in the right direction?

Any help would be very appreciated.

A few things... I'd risk lowering your str to 16 in order to get some cha and wis. More cha will let you take divine might, and make your smites, lay on hands, and saves better. More wis will be important when you hit pally 4 and can't cast your level 1 spells without a wis item on, I'm assuming you are taking monk for the feats, not for AC, as your dex and wis are way too low to give you a useful AC in robes or even light armor, where you could benefit from evasion.

Doesn't defender of siberys require a shield feat, such as tower shield or shield mastery? I didn't see you list that, my appologies if I'm mistaken.

I'd be very tempted to take this build and leave off the dragonmarks, take one of the shield feats so you'll qualify for DoS, and go pure pally. You'll gain 1 base attack bonus from not being monk, and won't really lose much because with the low dex and wis you'll almost certainly want to use heavy armor for the AC. I don't think you'll have the dex to max out a mithral BP, which is the lowest dex requirement light armor. The benefit of going pure pally is you get your cool pally abilities sooner (invaluable for soloing) and you have access to the capstone eventually. Also your smites and lay on hands will be more powerful.

A DoS pally in DT fullplate with a tower shield and some chaosguards and combat expertise can get an AC in the 60s, which is certainly in the useful range, and up near 70 with some uber loot, even higher with the right buffs from other characters.

Oh, I'd consider concentration or intimidate instead of haggle. you'll be rebuffing in combat a lot, as pally buffs are short duration, even with extend, so concentration will help there. If you are going to group, even a little bit for raid loot and stuff, you'll find intimidate to be an invaluable tool.

The dragonmarks.. yes, they are useful, it's just that there are so many -more- useful feats you can take. A pair of striding boots will make the first dragonmark redundant, and a few scrolls of D-door (you can't buy them, just hang on to any you happen to find) you will be able to UMD in a pinch. Teleport is useful, but not so much that it's worth taking 3 feats for. If you must have it, consider farming Ghola Fan for the clickie, or even just buying a rod in the DDO store.

For spells, you always have the option of changing them out in a tavern or at a shrine, so feel free to experiment and see what works and what does not. Must haves: divine favor, resist energy, angelskin, zeal, holy sword (until you craft a min II, it's one of the best weapons you can have)

You also mention the THF feats for extra DPS. There are going to be times when you want more DPS, but if you are mostly soloing, you are almost always going to want all the AC you can get. Having a two-hander to switch to for DPS mode is a good idea, you don't need the feats for it to help, it just helps more if you have them.

Incidentally, just about any quest before level 10 or so is "easy mode" with sword and board. After that, your shields stop scaling up, and become less and less useful without a lot of other really good equipment to push your AC up. If you can get that equipment, your AC will shine. Most people don't have it, which is why so many people think DPS is the only thing that matters.
