Even with the 32 point purchase system, at least they got the upconvert implemented to fix characters properly and not remove 1750.

I'm excited about Reincarnation and its possibilities for future development!

Lessah: Awww! Awesome! I have a non-PD level 11 Ranger ready to go.

My First Question: How does Jerry know this will be a good time?

Thanks for mentioning the class at Trinity University that is using DDO to explore transnational gaming. It wasn't in the show notes, so I wanted to mention that the link to the student page is:

Our class meets three times a week. Two of the meetings are a traditional discussion/lecture hybrid, and there is a mandatory gaming session on Wednesday evenings.

Previous iterations of the class have involved games such as World of Warcraft (http://www.trinity.edu/adelwich/mmo/students.html) and Everquest II (http://www.trinity.edu/adelwich/worlds/students.html), but this is the first time the class has focused primarily on issues surrounding transnational player interactions in virtual worlds.

Hey guys I joined as f2p, and my wife and I went VIP like the next day. It's a great game, and your podcast helps me understand a lot of the intricacies to it.

Your podcast seems very positive, but it would be nice if you gave voice to the overwhelming outrage from VIP players who are not getting their 500TP/month. My wife and I for example have been VIP for nearly a month and have submitted 3 support tickets, but have yet to get any response, and certainly haven't gotten our VIP points. A CSR on the forum has stated that you are supposed to get you 500TP for VIP within a day or two of cleared payment, but a lot of people on the forums are perpetuating the myth that you aren't supposed to get you 500TP until the end of your billing cycle - which is a brazen lie. After 138 podcasts, perhaps you have established enough connections to shine some light on what in the hell is going on with the VIP 500tp/month debacle. We certainly aren't getting any info from Turbine about this.
