People shouldn't be selling unpurchasable scrolls at insane rates. It benefits all of us to put them on the auction for super cheap.

Except for the 2 scrolls that have no buyout option, the prot from elements scroll have a very reasonnable price, others are overpriced and the snowball scroll is way overpriced, but because it's a new spell people try to get a profit while those scrolls are still rare.

When I pull an unpurchasable scroll... I first ask any wizard (should one be in group), then in guildchat if anyone needs it... and despite having to pass on other loot later in a quest carry it off to the ah and post it for maybe 100gp. Originally Posted by Strakeln

I post any arcane scroll not sold by a vendor up for 100k PP the first time, then 30k PP if it didn't sell, then 20k PP, then 10k PP, then 5k PP until it sells. (Low-level, or weak spells start lower) Originally Posted by Boldrin
20-30k PP is pocket change for anyone that's high enough level to want to inscribe a level 8 or 9 spell, and, like a tome, it's a permanent improvement to their character that they can't get any other way.
That said, if one of those scrolls drops when I'm grouped with a Wizard that needs it, it belongs to them, and free.I don't have a zerging problem.
