    Default Fighter/Rogue/Wiz mix help

Hey I currently have a Warforged Fighter 1/Rogue 2/Wiz 1 and plan on making it a Fighter17/Rogue 2/Wiz 1 but I'm debating making it a lvl 3 wiz for extra spell points and second lvl spells...Is this worth it or am I better off with the extra Fighter lvls (also debating another lvl of rogue for more skill points)...note I'm trying to get greater 2HF (Using Greatsword) also I have Adamitine feat which comes with 35% arcane failure...but I'm taking the inscribed armor feats to reduce it to 20% eventually and I hardly notice it even now

Note:The spells I usually have selected are utility or buff spells (and of course repair)

    Here's my stats:
    Str - 19 (took +1 at level 4)
    Dex - 12
    Con - 14
    Int - 12
    Wis - 6
    Char - 6

Str,Con,Int and Dex all have +1 items currently

Which extra spells do you want?

Blur is nice, but it is also a very common buff that casters will cast on you.
Very, very common at higher lvls.

Invisibility is nice. But potions drop in chests. With your Wiz 1 lvl you already have, you have a decent chance of using Invisibility scrolls. (also Blur scrolls).

Wiz 3 doesn't have a lot to offer for most builds IMO.

Wiz 5 does though. Haste and Displacement.
But that delutes your char a lot.....so choose carefully.

What extra spells did you want
Mostly for the stat buffing/debuffing spells,Moderate repair (self-heal due to Warforged) and summon monster 2 and the extra spell "slots"

anyways i noticed you have a Rgr10/Rog4/Wiz5 how do you like that one...since it's similar to mine except Ranger instead f fighter + a few more rogue levels than mine if I were to go wiz 5 that is

If you want invisibility and displace you might consider going elf. The first dragonmark gives invisibility and the second gives displacement. I find this very useful (especially with extend) on my 13 rogue/6 ranger/1 fighter. The enhancements for certain weapons are nice too, +2 to hit and damage.

UMD can allow the use of repair wands (if you go wf) or healing wands (fleshies) if you plan for it (ie take any high skill levels such as rogue, ranger at first level, then at a much later level and put all of the skill points into umd).

Thanks for the help guys I've decided to make a Halfling Rogue and a Warforged Wizard and a Human or drow Paladin instead of trying to cram it into one char.

Didn't notive your comment till just now.

My char is a lot of fun.
Very versitile. I like him best on the first day of a new mod, when no one has a clue about what to expect. And I can adapt to whatever we find better than most people.

Mine was an evolution, that was not planned out well. He's been nerfed by changes in the game many times too.

I took the extra Rog lvls, cause I felt my trap skills were behind and needed a boost.
But the extra SA damage has been nice.
I've adapted tactics I've learned on a pure rog to help get the most from my SA damage.
Self Haste and Rog Haste boost II is helping me put out some DPS when needed.

He has a decent Ranged attack...and will be even better when I get the 11th lvl of Rgr.

Displacement is great in the newest content. Stone skin wands too.

Invisibility and stealth skills are fun.

    Teleport scrolls are convienant.

    D Door scrolls...FireShield scrolls.

20 pt Jump spell. False Life spell. Expeditious retreat.

All this on a TWF char.

I wouldn't suggest anyone copy my build exactly, but he is fun and has done well in all content so far.

I'm trying to lvl up a few Wiz5 and Wiz7 builds. Combined with Rgr and Rog.

    Rog13/Wiz7
    Rgr15/Wiz5
    Rgr9/Wiz11....maybe WF
Trying to think of some other good ones.
