Cannot start up game without crashing.

I have tried to log in to my account, I type in my details and it lets me on and I choose a world. It starts up for a moment, when just as the intro movie starts it says "ddoclient has encountered an error and needs to close". It never did this up until this evening. I have managed too play several times before.

Can anyone help me?

Ok i had the same problem. Worked fine while it was downloading the first parts (tutorial, korthos) then once it was about 2gig through fullgame i got the ddoclient error everytime after choosing a world. After trying turning it off turning it on again (pretty much the extent of my computer skills) i realised the crash seemed to be happening when it started the intro movie. I fixed/avoided this error simply by pressing esc as soon as i heard sound but before the movie started. This skips the intro and lets you play! Not exactly as complicated as the attempted fixes i have seen, but sometimes the idiot approach stops you going deeper than the problem. Hope this helps.
