there is a check box under options to auto-decline group invites.. Works great. If you wanna join a team just pop it off, otherwise just leave it checked. it takes all of 5 seconds to switch, if that...

sqeulch also works great for spammers.. dont even bother trying to help them, cause people that do that kinda stuff, dont listen and dont care.. just slience them and be done with it.

the question needs to be asked why should I have to go through these steps? I shouldn't. If I wanted to join groups I would either ask...or put up an LFM. That's the way I've done it for 3 years now....it's worked pretty **** well too.

I've been running up a new toon....minding my own stuff. Well me and a few others I have talked to have been getting tons of blind invites to parties. It sure is nice you guys want to group with us.....but if we wanted to join your or other peoples parties we would ask. That is what the LFM panel is for. It's OK to send a tell and ask....but I had some dude spamming me today....even after I was kind enough to ask him to stop.

If ya wanna keep usin General Chat that's cool too.....but the LFM panel is your friend. So please stop the madness and stop the blind invites!!!

Sadly though this isn't just the new people. It is one of my biggest pet peeves and I've been getting them for years not just within the last few months (although the frequency has increased since EU).

even when I was on my cleric I never got blind invites.....maybe a tell...but that was about it. I think most of the people on Sarlona before EU would probably say much the same. But either way....now that my guys 10th it seems to have stopped......we'll see if that keeps up...could just be a low level thing.

I almost routinely chew people out who do it. But yeah for the last 3 and half years I've been getting them and not just as a low level toon either. But like I said it has increased since EU went live.

just.. so **** frustrating.. not only does the random blind invite me.. he doesnt have an LFM up so not only do i have nfi what quest or what level his toon is at, this fool has the gall to ask me why i'm logging out! didn't even get a response from them after that. just bloody rude.

I think the perfect solution is to accept the blind invite and tell them brt. Then in 10 minutes when they see you looting chests on your solo run you can say you changed your mind.

Just make sure you actually are in a quest, so's they cannot drop you. +1 for you!

It's not just the newbs, either... I always send a tell to friends to see what they're doing. If you send me a blind invite, don't be surprised by a decline.

Sometimes I just want to be left alone.

Goodluck with that, if Turbine did make such a boo boo that you could create a Monk/Bard it would be fitting for DDO to implode. How big a bug would that take.

"Opps we broke the alignment check mechanism of leveling", Monk/Barbarians, Monk/Bard, Pally/Barbarians, Pally.Bards. Please do not combine hese classes as we will be removing contradictory class levels.

Would be funny to see them scramble and retroactively fix the builds that were botched.

My quick solution to blind invites...If I don't know the person sending the invite I will always 100% click 'decline'. Takes 2 seconds.

ummmm....that's what I do. But having to do it every 2 seconds for a prolonged time period gets bothersome.
