Starting a TH DPS Fighter

So I was thinking about starting up a TH DPS Fighter because I dont like the style of Barb. As I get higher leveled what would be the best weapon specialization to take? I see some talk about Falchions but I havent looked much into them. I was considering Great Axe which I would probably want to go dwarf with. But not sure, I cant remember the crit ranges for the weapons.

Also what should I go with for stats? I was thinking Maxing out Str and put rest into Con. Yay or nay?

greataxe 1d12 x3 20
greatsword 2d6 x2 19-20

Now that the atk speeds are equal i'd have to say Falchion FTW bro, even though i loooves me my greataxe
