Ok heres the deal:

I just came from DDO Europe to DDO:EU and am playing on Cannith. Everything is good, I have no lag or performance issues EXCEPT on VOIP.

The only advantage DDO Europe had was that the VOIP freehands optional worked perfectly. I could play and communicate with the party without needing the "Push to Talk" Function. It was perfect, heck people could even hear the cat purr (he sleeps on my printer).

Switched to DDO:EU two months ago, same headset, same soundcard, same connection. Now the party says they cannot understand a word I say, that my voice is garbled, choppy, that they cannot understand or hear me. Push to talk works much better.

But I hate Push to talk, I always forget the key, or I am to busy to press it, when we are thick in the fight.

Is there anyway to get the no push to talk option working any better???
