...first off, i'm really sorry if this has been asked a gazillion times already. bear with me, i'm 100% noob.
if i already have a free account, can i enter the product code from a retail box to upgrade my account to premium status? i mainly ask because the retail box is only five bucks at gamestop. once upgraded to premium, your account stays premium right?

retail box should give you 1 month of vip after activating your key. after that, it is premium
