    Default PVP quest.

A quest in which one team works against the other. Maybe both teams have a tent across the map and have to guard some npcs or something. Lots of npc bad guys would spawn from a cave in the middle and attack both teams evenly. If you really want you can brave the higher ground above the cave and fight through a medium amount of baddies to hassle the other team with some PVP. Make it so both teams always get exp but the winner gets the items!

I grow tired of hearing the "THIS ISN'T WoW YOU NUB!" nay saying too. Lets face it. Players fighting other players peaks the interest of many. And it is a big audience to cater to if you wish it.

Isn't it about time to include ONE pvp quest?

Ignoring some of the flaws in your suggestion, I'll just answer the last question you pose.

    No.
Implementing another manifestation of a broken mechanic is a good idea. First recommend a way to improve PvP, and then, maybe, somewhere down the road, we can talk about a "pvp quest".

Listen here nay sayer. A quest involving npc goals and pvp could be easily and quickly do-able. Then bring more attention to broken pvp aspects. It would then get fixed faster instead of it always being a ignored black hole of negativity and taboo.

Now that his a big misconception. Of course you are going to have to divvy out more power and restrain some ONLY for pvp. And not apply in pve. And maybe bump up certain other things to make underpowered things more usable for pvp only.

A rogue laying on the ground for a whole minute in pvp isn't really fair. And a wizard that was tripped and and get up for 30 seconds isn't really fair either.

so you want massive time spend on 1 (in words: one!!) quest to balance classes against each other as the devs cant even fix the simplest bugs

as i said, it will kill the game

To have PvP, you have to balance the classes. To balance the classes, you will destroy PvE. THen you would have an mass exodus leaving the game.
