Companions...
I'm talking about paladin companions to get the iron/mithril etc pets. Considering this is the paladin forum i didnt think the need to specify was required. I was wrong =/

Ahh ok. I didnt see them on my sorc, maybe sorcs dont get? I thought it was paladin only. But thanks, I wanted to make sure to save my points

There are prerequisites for taking them. You probably didn't have the prerequisites on your sorc.
As he said, they are pretty fun to have around and provide some reasonable assistance if you are playing solo, at least until the mid teens. Groups will hate you for bringing one out, because they are like the metal dogs you fight in quests: they spread Grease around. And enough players will fall down in it that they'll make you swear not to call out your dogs.
