There's a backbone issue affecting the eastern US internet connectivity that appears to be affecting game login and connections.
The site http://www.internetpulse.net/ has some detailed connection stats for the 'Net as a whole. We are monitoring and will update with info as we receive it. Currently if you are trying to connect and have been having issues logging in please check with your ISP first and if it persists over time contact our Technical Support team here.

After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book. Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.
