Blade Barrier

what affects the strength of the blade barrier i know meta magics but do any of the enhancement line? also anything else?

Arcane lore is the only thing, currently in game, that provides a means to crit on a blade barrier.
Arcan lore is found on:

Blue Dragon Scale armor (Gianthold Tor scale turn-in)
Green Blade (DQ raid)
Skivver (Tome page turn-in)
Noxious Embers (Abbot Raid)


Other than the standard, Maximize/Empower, that's about it.

Also-

Elven Relec turn in in GH gives +6% arcane bonus from the Armor you select on most of them (if not all). It is kind of the "knock off" armor you can get prior to Dragon Scale, or a greenblade(or skivver) and Dragontouched combo.

+1 Yup this is great armor it aint gonna max your ac but you can put the potency item in off-hand and heal scroll/wands etc in the other. Then you can cast offensively and heal without constant item swapping. You can farm out the relics from easier quests in GH like Maze of Madness. We all dream of the day an enhancement line comes to spec blade barriers but it probably wont come, arcanes would have a fit.

Nonsense... arcane's would rejoice to see cleric's get more punch to their blade barriers. It's the melee who hate chasing mobs that are chasing the clerics through the BB that would get grumpy.

Arcane's would just throw AOE damage at the BB, and help kite.

If you get the elf armor, make sure you get the docent or the robes to add the Evocation focus to up your BB's DC.
