    Default 13 Fs/5 Wiz/2 Mk

After playing with the builder I came up with this for a solo build. But i am no expert so wanted to post this idea to get some feedback from people who get into the numbers and what not.

13 FS: rather then 12 this is only so I could take heal and BB at lvl 12 you only get 1 lvl 6 spell and the hole point of this is to be able to heal well, and use BB.

5 WIZ: I picked this because I wanted the self haste and Displace, and with 6 lvls of sorc you cant do this. You also get more feats with wiz as well my only concern is the low INT.

2 Monk: for the AC and feats, and evasion

    Starting Stats:

    STR: 8
    DEX: 18
    CON: 12
    INT: 10
    WIS: 14
    CHA: 16

    Feats:

    Dodge
    EMP Healing
    Empower Spell
    Evasion
    FVS: short Swrod Prof
    Weapon Finesse
    Two Weapon fighting
    Toughness
    Quicken
    IMP Two weapon fighting
    IMP Critical: Pierceing
    Greater Two Weapon fighting
    Extend Spell

    Spells:

    Blur
    +30 Energy resists
    Cure Serious
    Displace
    Haste
    Protection from Energy
    Deathward
    Divine Power
    FoM
    Recitation
    Raise Dead
    SR
    True Seeing
    Blade Barrier
    Heal

I have a lot of +2 tomes so that will help this guy, but to me this seems good. But I may be over looking somthing.
    Saesee Tinn - Ranger 18 | Rouge 1 | Monk 1
    Plo Koon - Wizard 10 | Monk 2| Rouge 1
    Humza - Wizard 20

This build could work as a soloer, maybe... basically relying on Blade Barrier...

But it's going to be extremely painful leveling up... Sure at the end, you have BB and Heal, and Haste, and Displacement, and Evasion...

But getting there.... I can only imagine you at 12th level with a 7/3/2 FvS/Wizard/Monk... Pretty worthless character there.

Probably should go only get 1 level of wizard and monk at first... then take all FvS to 13/1/1... and only then add in the last monk and wizard levels...

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

    Default Well...

I would think that the basic idea behind a Arc/Div/Monk is variety of CC, heal and use Monk IF they get close to you but I could be wrong.

Before deciding, look into how expensive potions and scrolls would be. I have a solo Fvs/Sorc/Monk that I have had very llittle problem with. HOWEVER, I spent ALOT of coin on pots.

Still, the highest that you NEED Int for this build is 13 (for 3rd level Spells). However, that would make your casting DC VERY low (11). So, any spell that requires a save from the monster would only do half (or LESS) damage. Also, it gives you NO additionall skill points (for concentration, hide or whatever!!)

TWF chain only does you any good if you take Kamas (otherwise, your Monk will be uncentered). Still, this is a good plan. I would take Monk at 1st level as that class gives you the most Skill points.

As to what you are overlooking, it is the stats. Cha is for SP and number of spells only. Spell DC comes form Wis. So, you only need a Cha of 17 to cast 7th level spells. Since you already have +2 tomes, I would delibrately low ball those stats by that much and put points into buffing up somehting else. Additionally, Dex, Str, Con and Wis are the stats for the Elemental Stances. IF you took Air stance, it would put your Dex up by 2 BUT take your Str down by two (giving you and unmodified -2 to damage).. So, I would have those four stats no lower than 10 and perhaps even 12.
MOST posters advise against Maxing out the main stat (Dex in this case) as there are tomes, etc that can buff you. I tend to agree. Also, as Monk AC comes from Wis as well as Dex, you have better point use by upping Wis a bit and putting Str high enough that you get either +1 to damage or NO -1 to damage.
