So after watching the forbiden kingdom today, I was wondering the viablity of a monk using quarterstaffs. I see a bunch of builds using kamas and there's the big f'ing stick build, but that uses rogue so I was wodering what the viabliltiy of and q staff monk in end game or would this be mainly fo ***** and giggles.

I was thinking dwarf and I have acress to 32pt build and +1 tomes.

I have a WF 32 pt monk that uses Q-Staff. he is also a ***** and Giggles toon. Hes really fun though, and with Power attack, cleave and great cleave he generates alot of Ki which i use to keep the various minute long monk buffs going.

I hate using the **** Ki attacks while i'm fighting.


So far this build has been fun, I took just enough dex to get to the last wind stance with a +2 tome, a high str (16 i think) and the rest into wis and con. Who knows. Hes probably horribly gimped. I really don't care

STR/WIS Fire based Dwarf or WF spec’d for stunning tactics is viable. Go THF with Pwr Atk, Cleave/gCleave with Stunning Blow & Fist. You can even get away with dumping DEX.
