    Default Tempest DPS/Healing FvS

    I already have a pure healing FvS build on it's way to 20, and a few other DPS characters so I wanted to play something different. It won't be the best DPS in the world, and it won't be the greatest healer, but it will be able to do both well enough to be viable.

    Elf, TWF Scimitars, Tempest, Monk Evasion, access to Heal spell, cleric-like SP.

    Looking good, just one note:
    Don't expect to always use Yugoloth potions, half of them aren't even worth it with the hidden effect penalty.

    Wis = -4 ref save (ouch)
    str = -4 Will save (not too bad)
    Dex = -2 to hit (uff)
    Con = win/win

    Int = -50% fort(!), Regen 1 sp / 6 sec
    Cha = -4 fort (Not too bad)

    Yo Eury. You planning to solo some stuff with this character? I got the feeling there are plans behind the madness. You should be able to do a solid job of focus healing considering the sp and heal spell, but will be less capable at mass cures of course. I guess in the current end game raid focused healing is more important.

    Edit: no quicken feat which would be nice.

    Absolute - I'm aware of the side-affects on the potions, I already use them on my other characters. Unless I'm worried about AC, which will be in the high 60s self buffed, I won't be using DEX or WIS. The penalty on the STR potion with a favored soul won't be too bad on as far as will saves, and like you said, CON is a win/win.

    MadMatt - I probably will end up soloing, but that's not the main purpose. I think a pure FvS or 18/2 build would be better suited to that. As far as quicken however, I don't use quicken on any of my clerics except to cast blade barriers or fast rezzes after an inferno at abbot. It is not necessary if you have quick enough reactions. Not only that, but it's a massive waste of spell points to use when healing. As far as mass curing, Mass Cure light with empowered healing cycled with Cure mass mod scrolls has always been enough for me, even on elite.

    I just think it would be a fun character to play and wouldn't be the cookie cutter build. Something different, fun, and still very viable. TWF DPS with 38str, divine power for full bab and gs scimitars should be fairly decent. Survivability and healing power is there too. I have other characters for pure DPS and 2 clerics and 1 pure fvs for healing. Time for something different!

    I guess my thinking was you were going to try to solo or duo something insane like the tower raid in which case you would want quicken. If you want to make a duo attempt or something of that nature Rabiez offfers her services lol.

    LOL I don't think I'd ever bother trying to duo that. Don't think it would be possible either, someone would have to kite shadowfiends while the other solos Nythirios(sp). Well, I guess it's possible but totally not worth it. Anything is "possible" with 500 spell point potions. I can already solo everything else in mod9 on hard (havent tried elites yet) on my heal-bot clerics so there's no need for a purpose built solo character.
