Default Request for General Info - Rogue related

Thank you for any advice you can give me on some fun builds.

First, I'm not a powergamer per se, but I do like when things click together. Second, my goal is to have fun, explore, and to overcome tricks/traps and impossible situations.

I absolutely love traps and being sneaky so my favorite characters all have a splash of rogue in them. My favorite character right now is a Human rogue/monk who uses handwraps.

My request is... based on your experience of what YOU considered fun, what would you suggest for an Elven Rogue who will use throwing weapons, ?

    Shurikens or daggers?
    Light armor or medium armor?
    Multiclass or straight Rogue?

This Elven Rogue is not mentally stable and is actually going into the world to put a hurting on as many people as he can in a feeble attempt to make himself feel better. He's not into worldly goods but instead is going to focus on kill count.

When he stands, he always turns his body to the side to present a smaller target to his foes.

He's not the fastests Elf, nor the strongest, but he does have some quickness, intelligence and charisma. For the last 50 years or so he has had reaccuring dreams of throwing fire at vague nameless enemies.

Ok, what thoughts come to mind for him?

First well this seems to be one of the most over used RP stances for rouges. What is it with all the psychopath rouges?

Now what I think is fun. Rouge18/Frigher2 insanely high dex and a closet full of robes.

No, he's started already and he's an Elf. I was looking for ideas to flesh out his future based on what players who have played an Elf rogue thought was fun.

For instance, maybe someone had fun wearing nothing but robes. Their character didn't suffer too much from not wearing leather as long as they did... "x".

Or maybe someone had fun throwing axes instead of daggers because axes did "x" to a certain mob that comes up alot.

    That kind of help.

based on your description psyco elf with thrown weapons and reasoning behind it.

    no one thing is perfect.
carry a hammer, dart and surikan
take one lvl of monk because he is insightfull and must meditate on his dreams
also take one level of paladin he must be on a holy crusade to kill everything with thrown weapons.
Keep track of every creature and named you have killed with said thrown weapon in your bio.
make sure to check and see if the creature is on your list after every mob you kill
feats weapon focus thrown, whatever you need to get to improved precise shot, improved crit thrown
stats should be str14 dex18 con8 int14 wis? char? all lvl ups dex
to focus on kill count ummmmm wait till whoever is in you party pratically kills the mob then run up, intimidate and drag him away and then kill it.
wear robes- have 2 full hotbars of different looking ones and ask every party you are in you need opinion on which one looks best to them. You must look good to be great.

hahahah. I sense a joke is being played on me but let's see.

    1. I think people specialized so carrying all 3 weapons wouldn't work. JOKE
    2. One level of Monk. I know Monk has some good stuff but I think I need 2 levels to get meditate. JOKE
    3. One level of Paladin. Hmmm, maybe for the HP and buff? Probably not since he has to be Lawful Good. JOKE
    4. Track creatures on a list. I've played a game or two that did that for me but it didn't interest me too much even after i received titles. JOKE
    5. feats weapon focus thrown, whatever you need to get to improved precise shot, improved crit thrown. This sounds like good advice or at least a good reminder.
    6. Stat suggestions. Thanks, but the character has been created. JOKE
    7. Talk about party kills. Good players do not screw over their party. JOKE
    8. You must look good to be great. I totally support and approve of this comment.

Out of eight comments only two didn't make me think that I was the butt of a joke. That's a 75% JOKE percentage and I appreciate the time you spent trying to bring joy to my life. Thanks.
