    Default FvS advice

    Hello!
Just rolled a new character. My goal is to be mainly a FvS, but I started level one as a thief for all the skillpoints as well as the unlock/trap skills. Once I leveled I went to FvS.

My question is thus, should I splash anything else or stay with FvS for the rest of the journey? I wanted my character to be good at two things. 1. solo and 2. good utility role in groups. I want to be able to melee, heal/buff, and help with traps/locked things.

I'm at work so I can't give you my exact stats, but I think I'm 15 str, 16 dex, 14 con, 10 int, 14 wis, and 16 chr. The numbers may not add up as I am guessing. I'm playing a drow. When I get home later this evening, I can update the exact stats if it helps!

    Thanks!

I dunno...without really seeing your build, it's hard to say for sure. I'd imagine taking a second rogue level for the Evasion and topping up the rogue skills is worthwhile for your build.

IIRC I took the feat for +1 on all saves. For my FvS feat I took the class one that lets me use a longsword.

I put most of my points into traps, lock-pick, spot, search, jump, and use magic device. Higher points were on the first four I listed.

edit* I thought evasion only worked in light armor? I asked about it last night in /advice chat and was told that. If that's the case, it isn't really necessary if I plan on using medium -heavy armor(which I am currently)

You wont need that Luck of Heroes feat because FvS has a great saves progression and spells that negate or remove effects youd need to save against. If you went 1 rogue, you might as well go 2 to get evasion. You cant wear heavy armor as a FvS unless you spend a feat or furthur multiclass, or dont care about the penalty to hit. You cant get evasion in medium armor. Light armor gives you almost as much protection as medium though, so its no big deal, wear the light armor or a good robe. Pick up the second level of rogue a bit later down the line to get the most of the skill points. Around level 14 evasion gets really nice to have, so sometime before that.
