    Default Made a store purchase, not yet premium

    I made a store purchase earlier today (had to wait on hold for 40 minutes to do it, too) and even though I now have the points from said purchase my account is still listed as "free" instead of "premium". Is multi-hour lag time on this normal? If so, how long does it take for premium privileges to be set up?

    did you bought for just tp or did you spend real $ too?

    afaik, only with real $ you get premium

    The FAQ, available at http://www.ddo.com/vip, says:

    "With your first purchase of any Turbine Points bundle, you are automatically upgraded to "Premium" player status!"

    If you purchased points using cash, then you are upgraded pretty much instantaneously to Premium status and should definitely notify customer service at this point. If you did *not* purchase points using cash, but instead used points given to you by Turbine to acquire something from the DDO store, then you haven't met the requirements to be a Premium player and that's why your account has not been upgraded.

    I made an actual purchase with real-world money over the phone, talking to a customer service representative. He did mention that he had to manually add the points to my account. I did receive the points, but I am still not a premium player. I guess I have to call customer service again tomorrow.
