    Default Jumpy Mouse Click

Since the last upgrade patch, I have been having problems with a jumpy mouse during gameplay. Every time I try to click on something (i.e. chest, door, quest entrance, etc) the mouse jumps off the target. If I want to open something, I have to keep using "t" key to turn on/off mouse look.

Any ideas what's going on? Is there something I can turn on/off in the options screen to fix this? Do I need to upgrade something? Hopefully someone knows something because it sure is getting irritating trying to play like this.

You might have to play around with your keymappings a little. It will also greatly depend on your play style.

For myself, I used to get this all the time (after the latest patch) when I right-clicked on something to select it, the cursor would never be in the correct place. I altered right-click to be "Select" (an option in the keybind; in this case, persistently select) and everything is back to normal.

If you're using the "DDO Classic" option of left-click or right-click, try changing it to something else.

    Default Thanks for help

Not sure if it was the switching out the settings or the update today, but it now works. Thanks for making DDO fun to play again.

They just added a new option, under UI settings (ctrl-O, UI settings): "Allow cursor <something> mouselook". It's about 7 spots from the top, I think.

If you set it so that when in mouselook, clicking doesn't cause the targeting circle to disappear, that should fix the problem.
