    Default Hitting the wall

    okay

Me and my GF are refugee from DDO europe.
We used to have a Duo of a dwarf greataxe fighter and elf rogue (8 and 9)

Back in the days, we hit a wall around Lvl 7 or 8 where suddenly all the mission were getting a lot harder
( we did Tangleroot, necropolis part 1, and Delera's Tomb, it was fun) but shortly after that we ran out of doable (easy ?) missions
So we used to run missions 1 or 2 level above and still have very rough time, and in the end, get bored of getting smashed upon.
    we left

We are now starting again on DDO EU.
    so far so good
    we are around level 5-6

    so i have 3 questions

1)it seems that xp is flowing more easily and levels are coming quicker Is it me or is it a fact ?

    2) Dungeon Scaling made our life a LOT easier, but i think we will hit the Hard wall a little later, am i right?

    3) MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: how far our duo can go ?

just staying the two of us (and our priest o pocket) how far in the game can we go ?
we did all the early Big quests: WW, catacombs, STK, aiming for tangleroot soon...

can we do Gianthold, Vault of night, Threnal, and other famous quests, just the two of us ?

tell me, so i can see where we should go, and where we shoudn't (aka not tryng tempest shrine)

PS: we have decent, solid, 28pts builds; no twink, no nonsense multiclass, no tomes

PS2: nice fun and easy is our way.

what are the builds you are running now? would make a big difference

some sort or arcane or healer or a bard and a tank would be a good duo

Grey moon CO6 is a fun place to go as well as the quests in house p ie gwylans, tear, also check out the quests in the anvilfire inn in house D

as far as xp if you do all the optional then yes you will get more xp than you used to from them and dungeon scaling makes it easier to finish some quests so I say yes it's a bit easier to level up to about 9 or so.

    1. Yea for the most part. Most quests do indeed give more XP now. There have been many changes to XP, some up and some down.. But for most quests, your getting about +20%, as long as you never die or re-enter, from the flawless victory and presistance bonuses. Also you get less of a penalty for doing quests below your level.. But get no bonuse for quest above your level.. So doing lower lvl easier quests will often get the xp faster now.
    2. Not really. Dungeon scaling keeps things pretty easy all the way to endgame. Running quests on hard and elite will reduce the benefits of scaling (but still applies), but if you just keep to normal, it will stay quite easy.
    3. All the way to 20. At some point you will need to get some good healing, but the Rogue can handle that. Just has to get his UMD up high enough to use heals scrolls on the dwarf fighter. It will be costly in some quests, but still doable.
