I got a FF ring as a quest reward in this series as well. I'm lvl 9 and I still use my nicked longbow with my fighter for pulling and such.

all i gotta say is you'd better have a ton of thieves tools on hand if you are a rogue. i ran them a couple of weeks ago on my capped rogue and i think i used 50+ tools. as for why i had to disable all of those traps in that display room, my rogue suffers from obsessive disarming disorder.
The typical equation for this is whatever level quest you are in, subtract 2 - 3 levels, and that's what level loot drops. It's not a hard and fast rule, as you'll sometimes pull masterworks out of level 8 dungeons, and sometimes get at-level or even above level loot in the same quest. That said, since the weapons/gear is equivalent to a ML 5 item, you would typically see equivalent loot in a level 7 or 8 dungeon.
End rewards are a different animal entirely and tend to be unique to a particular quest. The random end-rewards will be about normal, but the unique items dropping from specific quests can often be far better than the average (i.e. Tangleroot drops +3 Stat items with ML 5).
Just wanted to rez this thread for a minor addition.
Someone mentioned the desirability of a Khopesh from this quest (Come Out and Slay). While a Nicked Khopesh would be nifty the loot table does include a +2 Khopesh. My fighter is carrying it now and it was the first Khopesh of any sort he'd seen. Picked it up at level 3 or 4 along with the Nicked Longsword and Longbow.
Honestly, the entire Sharn Syndicate quest chain is loaded with terrific loot for low level characters.
Besides the good low level loot, the quests are really great and full of fun.
In additional to no ML FF items I once pulled a no ML 1/day haste item (bound). Maybe not the worlds best item, but pretty darn neat to throw down a haste at the 2nd level.
