Aussie Guilds?

Hello -

I am currently returning from being a founding member. With the new free to play, I thought I would give the game a go again and possibly sub later if I still enjoyed it. My main reason for leaving was due to content. I was level 10 and really had nothing much to do.

I have since rerolled and starting the game from scratch being that so much has changed. I am looking for an aussie guild that doesn't mind the occasional question about how things have changed.

A bit more of what I'm looking for:
* Im 30 years old so would prefer a guild of adults or adult minded.

* I live in Australia (Sydney) so a guild that plays during evening AEST time would be great.

* I am a casual player. I do enjoy raiding, but after being a hardcore player in many different MMOs, my life has gotten more complicated so I prefer to just log in when I choose without being pressured. That being said, I wouldn't mind attending raids now and then, but my real life comes first.

* I am currently splitting my time between two characters. I would join the guild with one character, but not with the other as he is the leader of a founding guild and its just more a sentimental thing more than anything. One character is designated to playing with a group of mates who can only play during certain times. I want to keep this character the same level as them so that we can enjoy our times together. The one joining the guild, is fair game to level up and do whatever.

Have a look at Stormreach theives guild. Mostly an Aussie/Kiwi guild. Get alot of ppl log on when you will be on. Majority are adult casual gamers with kids or partners playing. Have a look at them in Khyber guilds. Or srtg.org.au.

For a time we were probably as hardcore a power gaming guild as any of them, with a bunch of stupidly addicted players (Gtar, Yabba, Kenriith, Boonie, Tuffas, Kobacious, Anzac, Redtempest, Psili, Enermax, Boldrin, Amabel etc.) all playing 4-7 hours a day and running 3-4 raids every night.

A lot of those guys have left or become more casual, so we've gone from 3-4 raids a day to just having a bit of casual fun most nights, but we still have capacity to raid when someone wants to. And we can always call in reinforcements if necessary!

Although we're all more casual now due to expanded work/life/family commitments, and many of the guys have migrated to other games either temporarily or permanently, most of our senior players have between 10 and 20 capped alts that are fully geared up, so we can still put together a balanced party for any quest someone needs/really wants to run.

Also, we have a strong allegiance with SRTG - a great bunch of guys and gals, and I'd unhesitatingly recommend SRTG to you too.
